Why is the icon on my NEO machine lit, blinking or not lit?

The icon above the start button is another way your machine communicates with you. The icon can be lit, blinking or unlit. Find out what each one means:

  • The icon is lit

Great news, your machine is successfully set up and connected to Wi-Fi - and the icon will remain lit even when you’re not using the app.

TIP

This is the best way for the machine to remain independent from your phone.

You can also check the connectivity status of your machine via the app in the “my machine” section.

  • The icon is unlit 
  • Don’t worry, all you need to do to is redo the Bluetooth pairing and Wi-Fi connection. Follow these steps for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  • The icon is blinking
  • It’s all right, your machine is just trying to reconnect to our servers. Please wait while it does this as it can take a few moments.
  • Is the icon still blinking or is it unlit?
  • Firstly, we recommend that you redo the machine setup process.
  • If the problem continues after the reset, it’s likely that your machine has a technical issue. Please contact the NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® hotline on 0800 707 6066, and our team will do their best to solve it.
