- Place a compost bin directly on the soil.
- Keep unwanted visitors out by putting poultry netting around the base.
- Occasionally, mix the outside ingredients into the mixture to speed up the process.
- Remember to cover the bin to keep out the rain.
- Check on your mixture after six months*. If it’s brown, crumbly, and smells sweet, the process is complete.
