Why doesn’t my Wi-Fi network appear?
There’s generally nothing to worry about if your Wi-Fi network doesn’t show up in the list of networks on your device. It’s commonplace and usually can be solved following these steps:
- Make sure that both your machine and router are correctly plugged in and switched on.
- Check that your machine isn’t too far from your router. If so, move closer.
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network isn’t hidden.
- Test to see if other Wi-Fi devices can connect to your network.
- Switch off your router and wait for five minutes before switching it back on. This straightforward reboot can often do the trick!
If your Wi-Fi network still doesn’t show up in the list of networks on your device, try reaching out to your internet provider for further instructions.
