Why do my frothy beverages have less and lower quality milk froth than usual?
Has the milk foam in your white cups not been as scoopable and delicious as usual? That’s a sign that you need to clean and descale NEO’s jet nozzle. Find out exactly what to do in this walk-through:

- Turn on the machine, check the pod inlet, sachet holder, and pod bin are empty. Press the start button for 10 seconds until it blinks purple. The jet nozzle will move to its removal position, wait until it finishes moving, and the start button has turned to a steady purple.
- Pop the pod inlet, sachet holder, and pod bin in the dishwasher or clean them by hand.
- Open the cleaning door and turn the pink piece. Simply remove the jet nozzle and clean it but don’t close it.
- Is the jet nozzle sparklingly clean now? Double check for remnants, cleaning with a brush/sponge if needed. Remove the cleaning pin from the back of the drip tray and completely insert it into the small channel to remove any residue.
⚠️ Before continuing, make sure the water tank is full. - Return the opened jet nozzle to your machine and follow these steps in reverse. Press the start button for +3 seconds until it turns steady green.
The process is now complete! Grab your favourite cup and celebrate by filling it with your go-to NEO brew.
Great to know: NEO's jet nozzle will automatically rinse after you prepare a beverage that uses our sachet. From the first to the last drink of the day, you enjoy consistent coffee shop quality.
Did you clean the jet nozzle, but there is low to no water flow? Try to descale your NEO machine first.
Still no water flow? Remove the jet nozzle and soak it in our Water Descaler solution overnight. Rinse the jet nozzle with fresh water and dry it with a soft and clean cloth. Reinsert the jet nozzle.
